TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A local college is hoping to engage others with discussion.
Saturday was the Big Data Summit at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Experts were on hand to give insight on popular topics and how they handle large volumes of data. More than 50 people, made up of Rose-Hulman faculty, staff, students and community members, were there to join the conversation.
“It’s a way for the Rose-Hulman community and the Terre Haute community to come together and really learn about something and figure out ways they can improve themselves, and each other, through learning such a topic,” said Elizabeth Hagerman, Vice-President of Corporate Engagement.
This is the first year for the event. Organizers are hopeful to host more in the future, you can keep up with future events on their website.
