TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – An arrest has finally been made more than a month after a man sets his home on fire.

Terre Haute Arson Investigator, Norm Loudermilk, told News 10 that Reuben Wright is now facing nine felony charges. Those charges include attempted arson, aggravated battery, resisting law enforcement, and intimidation.

Authorities say on Feb. 10 emergency crews responded to Wright’s apartment to serve an emergency detention order.

Once there officials say the 34-year-old had barricaded himself inside, had started a fire and began throwing things at police.

Wright is at the Vigo County Jail on $85,000 bond.
