VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – Area law enforcement announce they’re stepping up patrols for the month of March.
It’s part of the Operation Pull Over campaign.
Officers from Vigo County, Terre Haute and Indiana State Police will be on the look-out for aggressive and impaired driving. With March Madness, St. Patrick’s Day and a lot of celebrating in the Hoosier State, police want to keep our roads, safe!
“Enjoy yourself, but plan for a ride home,” Vigo County Chief Deputy John Moats stated. “Get someone to pick you up, and always remember to call a sober driver.”
In March of last year there were nearly 500 alcohol-related crashes across Indiana. That resulted in 11 fatalities.
