Fork in the Road: Pop Around the Clock

VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) – If you spend any time with the Fork in the Road crew you know they have weaknesses.

Anything chocolate and of course bacon.

Oh…and there’s one more. Mike Latta is crazy about popcorn.

He found a spot in Vincennes that was popping up all kinds of flavors.

He headed south with his crew to check it out.

From the second you walk in, the sound of popping is music to any popcorn lovers ears.

Amy Bruggeman and her husband Chris own Pop Around the Clock,

“He had always made popcorn for friends and family, actually the caramel corn. For friends and family around the holidays and somebody said ‘hey, this is really good, you need to make this and sell it,'” Amy said.

Seven years ago they started with 18 flavors…now they are popping up more than 90.

There is a safe side and a sinful side.

The safe side includes flavors like caramel, cheese, Fort Sachville…made from cheese, caramel, toffee, and butter.

The sinful side?

Double drizzle cashew crunch, white chocolate, milk chocolate, birthday cake flavored caramel corn with pretzels, mixed nuts all coated in white chocolate, milk chocolate peanut butter, and cookies and cream just to name a few.

No matter which side of the aisle you choose, safe or sinful…you will find a flavor for you.

Pop Around the Clock is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. and started in December they will be open on Sundays from noon until 5:00 p.m.
