Haircuts with a purpose; support members in your community battling cancer

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Here’s your chance to sport a new do and do something nice for someone battling cancer!

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Airport Veterinary Clinic is sponsoring ‘Ponytail Day’ on Friday and our very own News 10’s Lacey Clifton is going above and beyond supporting the cause by chopping her lovey locks!

The event is taking place at Serendipity Salon which is just right across the street from the News 10 station on Ohio Street.

All you need is ten inches of hair to cut off and you get to choose where your hair is donated. If you didn’t register online, that’s perfectly fine, walk-ins are welcome!

If you don’t have enough hair to donate they are accepting cash donations and that money will go to P.I.N.K of Terre Haute.

So, if you really want to get involved but you just don’t have the hair, drop by with a few bucks. The event will be going on until 6 p.m.!
