WABASH VALLEY (WTHI) – The entire Wabash Valley viewing area was under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch at some point on Wednesday.

Storms that moved through the Wabash Valley between 4 and 6 p.m. caused some damage including flooding, tree damage and brought down power lines. We spoke with Crawford County, Ill. dispatch who reported they were hit pretty hard with some limbs down and power lines down. They also reported that Jasper County, Ill. had about a ‘mile of lines’ down.

The National Weather Service stated there was hail seen in the 13th and Crawford area of Terre Haute; mostly penny and nickel sized hail.
